Who is behind LEUX Design?
We are a life-centered, regenerative service design team in Burlingame, California, founded and led by E.L. Johnsdotter. A team does the work, and a team answers your email. The founder’s bio tells the full story.
- What those three words mean, plainly. Service design means we look at the whole path a customer takes through your business, not one page of your website. Life-centered and regenerative mean we design for the people and the place the business sits in, and for what the business leaves behind, not only for the next sale.
What does LEUX Design believe?
LEUX Design believes entrepreneurship, done well, changes the world: it builds communities, creates connection, and gives people a way to express what they believe in. LEUX Design is here for the founders who know that, and are building accordingly. The work is plain talk and measured results.
- Owners should own their business. The domain, the hosting and the logins belong to you.
- Results should be measured. We grade every site before and after, so you can see what changed.
- A site must work for people and for machines. A site can look fine and still be empty to a crawler; ours was, before its rebuild.
- Fix what’s broken first. For owners who are overwhelmed, disorganized, or locked out of their own tools, we go in, find what’s broken, and fix it.
How does LEUX Design work with clients?
We work in three steps: check what is there, rebuild what is broken, and prove the result. You talk to us first, we explain the work in plain words, and you keep ownership of every account the whole way through.
- Talk. You describe the business and what is stuck, by email or on a 30-minute Zoom discovery call.
- Check. We grade your site and compare it with what machines actually receive.
- Rebuild. We rebuild your own content so every page arrives complete, with structured data, then launch it.
- Prove. We grade the site again and set it beside the "before".
Where is LEUX Design based?
We are based in Burlingame, California, and we work remotely. Our marketing area is the San Francisco Bay Area, and we take clients anywhere in the USA. Wherever you are, you can write to hello@leux.design to begin. We reply within 2 business days.
